Nilfisk-ALTO is moving into a new area – the automatic cleaning. The MULTICLEANER 7-53 is self-propelled cleaning robot for farms. Its primary area of use is in pig stalls, where it assures efficient and profitable cleaning at any time of the day or night. Cleaning of pig farms is a very tough job and it is more and more difficult to find competent and willing staff to perform this task.

Yet hygiene levels and controls are tougher and tougher. A cleaning robot is proving to be the best way to take care of this tough job and create a working environment that will attract the best employees. The robot also leads to an overall cost saving in cleaning.

Programming and installation cycle per sty is easily done and the robot can run for as much as 8 hours, handling around 80% of the cleaning tasks. During this time, the farm staff can go ahead with other activities around the farm. Or, as one farmer informs us, simply set the robot running over night and go to bed. In the morning time, the cleaning is done.

The MULTICLEANER 7-53 and its cleaning technique was developped in close collaboration with professional pig breeders, where quality standards and strict stall hygiene are paramount.
 
The MULTICLEANER 7-53 can be used in most existing pig units without modifications to structure or stalls.

The MULTICLEANER 7-53 does not require any extra installations as long as water and electricity are available. It is easy to transport and set up, operation is simple and the cleaning programs effective. Programming is performed on an operating panel using simple yes/no questions in the course of about 1 minute.
